Tonight! - Panama Kings, Glenn Rosbourough(ex Kharma 45)

Tonight we welcome back Belfast's finest The Panama Kings to Indie Rock 'n' Roll, their 1st appearance in Derry since their triumphant New Years Eve gig at Sandinos.

Panama Kings are essentially a rock combo with Cuban heel boots, untamed hair and guitars that roar. But there's a complexity in the music that's sometimes psychedelic, sometimes even techno. The songs are full of detail and the electro-romp of 'I Don't Want To Die' is especially fine. As we've said before, singer Niall sounds anxious and perturbed, like he's part of some cruel experiment. - Stu Bailie (ATL)

The Panama Kings are ably backed by local boy and ex-Kharma 45 frontman Glenn Rosborough, having signed to Warners and lived the rock n roll dream, Glenn took some time out and started writing for himself and soon realised the direction this was taking him.
Glenn will appearing in Masons tonight with a full band so get there early and check them out.

We'll be kicking off around 10pm with 1st band on at 11.
